Big jump from Frankfurt to Bangkok, then on to Krabi, Thailand. It has been a whirlwind tour with brothers Mai and Don. Spending the first week in Thailand with a Mai, a Thai native, has been a great way to learn how to get around. He is also able to explain some local customs and explain local food.
Mai led us on five days of sightseeing that covered so many places, it is not possible to summarize in a quick story. Instead, here just a few of the photos to give you an idea of what we have seen and done – floating markets, boat rides, temples, palaces, great food and a short elephant ride and so much more!
Don and Mai head home tomorrow. I have one more day in Bangkok before flying north to Chiang Mai.
Happy travels!

Gorgeous! Enjoy the adventure!
Thailand is One of my favorite countries! I was an exchange student there in high school in Chaing Rai and then Barbara Janie and I visited again in 2007. I still have host family there that I keep in touch with and love.
